Jump, skip, leap
Just do it.
Prove it once more...
to yourself and the world that
You can....
Just do it.
We are stewards of our lives! So we must do something with it.
Having faith requires patience.I feel pretty optimistic most days, but sometimes I need a little push, a little reminder. Some of my favorite commercials as a kid were Nike's. Their "Just do It" campaign has truly been my life's mantra. I always take things head on enthusiastically; Sometimes it ends up a little messy, but other times, it turns out surprisingly well. I see myself as an optimist, a cheerleader, if you will, because I have faith that things are mostly good and because I like to be surprised. I have to get up every morning believing that things will be AWESOME, otherwise, it all ends up going south. There is really never a good time for a cynic but there is always a need for an optimist. At times, I do feel the burden of life settling over my shoulders, but if I just come to the realization that it's my perspective weighing me down as opposed to my environment, I can make it through the day energized and ready for whatever ball gets thrown at me. I like to catch balls and I like to throw them too and this may be due to the fact that my dad played a lot of catch with me, but let me at it! I always want a piece of the action, I want to have fun. What's the worst that could happen? That I end up with better reflexes than before or that I can better predict what's ahead of me. How fun would that be? So today, I need to leave you with a simple mantra, "Just do it!" I don't care if you end up with mud in your face! Dance, sing, run and live your life the way God intended for you to live.
25 Adam fell that men might be; and men are, that they might have joy.
