Preparing for Easter
If you know me, you know I'm not a sucker for holidays. I feel that they're tedious and require you to spend money on things that are unnecessary, but I have the "desire" to be more interested in them. I have, over the past five years, become more excited about Christmas and Fourth of July, but everything else seems trivial and of no consequence. My neighbors are truly amazing. They decorate every month for something new. New Years, Valentines, Saint Patty's and now Easter...what's next month? I hope nothing. Every time I see the decorations it makes me feel like a slacker, but I don't have room to store all that stuff. I'm a minimalist at heart. I have all the necessary items for my family, but decorations? Seriously, I can't handle it. I am making a baked chicken dish to take to the neighbors that we so love, they invited us over for Easter lunch, it should be fun, I'll try to take some pictures for the family to see. I need to get to my scripture study before the babes arise. I'm grateful for sabbath mornings and another day of life. Ciao!
